Named one of KM's Most Influential People 

                                    
In the July 2001 issue of Knowledge Management Magazine, USA, Knowledge Management magazine published its list of KM's Most Influential People for 2001. Ash Sooknanan was named one of six people selected, and the only Canadian to receive such an honour. 

 

Awarded Silver Medal - GTEC Distinction Awards 2000

                           
In October 2000, the Silver Medal for the Government in Technology Distinction Awards 2000, Group II Innovative Solutions in the Provinces, was awarded for the WSIB's Knowledge Management Practice: Intellectual Capital KnowledgeBase (ICK). Ash Sooknanan, pioneer of the WSIB's Knowledge Management Practice, and one of its founding architects accepted the award.
